Happily living in Recoleta in Buenos Aires Argentina when the Covid lockdown hit in the spring of 2020. I sheltered in place right next door to my favorite cafe, coincidentally called The Shelter Cafe.
My beautiful little block became my world. Living just around the corner from the gorgeous French Embassy lent beauty to the days.
Across the street from a beautiful church,my world became very small as it did for many of us. I counted on the days when the sun shined and I could hear the chorus from the church.
